We created this Textile Artifacts family collaboration to release some of our most beautiful antique fabrics out of our archive and into the world as graceful, playful scarves.

We drew on a time in history when some of the best designs were found in home decor. These exquisite, energetic patterns were hand-selected from our favorite fragments, and translated into color-faithful, modern life designs, so that they can hike, garden, and be by the ocean.

About our fabrics

Our custom yardage, based on antique designs hand-selected from our extensive collection, are printed to order on fabrics that we love.

Because we work in collaboration with a top Northeast production studio, we’re able to offer quick turnarounds on exceptionally high quality, eco-friendly textiles, all at affordable prices. 

The fabric production we employ has been streamlined to minimize water and chemical usage, with odorless inks that are certified Oeko Tex- Eco Passport, GOTS and CPSIA.  The result: a sustainable, high-quality product that features durable, vivid hues, colorfastness, and a soft handfeel.

Please contact us with your ideas for base material and scale. We’ll work with you to develop the right combination. For these designs, we also have some flexibility in the final hues.

Estimate a ~4- week turnaround for each round of samples, and an expected 2 total rounds to get things right (total of 8 weeks to final product).

Prices below include an 18x18” initial sample and additional round of testing.
